15 DAYS, 1 CITY. CONNECT. LISTEN. COLLABORATE
AUG 25TH – SEPT 9TH 2022
As a platform driven by one common goal – to grow the continent’s global art profile by building a diverse community of African art collectors and investors – ARTSPLIT is the ultimate convergence of Africa’s best Art, tech, and investment portfolios; and through the ARTSPLIT app, art lovers can own shares (also known as ‘Splits’) of prestigious African artworks, which they can trade in real-time.
Seeing as acquiring art via shares (or Splits) is a relatively new concept to the South African art market and landscape, ARTSPLIT aims to familiarize local audiences, collectors, artists, and art patrons with its app offering and platform launching in South Africa during the 2022 edition of Art Joburg ‘Open City’ over a 15-day period from August 25th to September 9th, 2022.
